Bruce Daniels
Minister
Bruce has been the minister at Somersham Baptist Church since September 2009. Previously he ran a cancer research laboratory in Cambridge and was a qualified lawyer. He and his family have joined us from Bluntisham Baptist Church. He is married to Isabel and they have two children, Rachael (born in 2003) and Joshua (born in 2005). Bruce is undertaking “on the job” training” at Spurgeon’s College in London. There he’s doing a full-time Bachelor of Theology degree and the professional ministerial training, in two days a week.
Bruce’s hobbies include sport, with a particular passion for football. He’s played on the European stage against Gramozi FC of Albania, during a mission tour to the country. He also enjoys reading, not just course books, and is pleased to have the library in the village so close.
Bruce would like to see the church more involved in the community, building bridges to enable people to discover more about the Christian faith, as God meets them where they are at, enabling them to find Jesus and their place in God’s family, the church.

Mark Cusworth
Deacon
Mark joined Somersham Baptist Church in September 2007 after God prompted him to move to the village and to be part of the church. He was baptised at Bluntisham Baptist Church when it was the sister church to Somersham. While a member of Easthampstead Baptist Church in Bracknell he received training and encouragment in this leadership gift. His passion is to see church done in a way that is relevent to todays culture and reflects the love and glory of God. He is a dad of 3 boys who are a real blessing and the source of much joy.

Graham Lodge
Deacon
Somersham Baptist Church is Graham’s first home church as it was where he became a Christian when he was 38 and where he was baptised; so as he would say, “it's a very special place”. He is a gifted guitar player and a regular worship leader - a role he enjoys. His other jobs are designing electronics (which pays the bills), and being a Dad to 3 teenagers (which runs up the bills); he describes life as pretty full.

Jan Mullen
Deacon
Jan has lived in Somersham for 15 years, and has been attending Somersham Baptist Church since moving into the village. As well as being a deacon she is a musician, regularly leading worship. In her spare time she enjoys sailing at one of the local sailing clubs.

Kymberley Taylor
Deacon
Kymberley lives in the village and has been worshipping at Somersham Baptist church since she took part in an Alpha group in the autumn of 2000. She became a deacon in 2005 and helps with the childrens work. As well as being very involved in church life she also plays a very active role in the community.
